Welcome to Stratton Street Capital LLP
Wed, Feb 23rd 2011
A very warm welcome to new provider, Stratton Street Capital LLP and its Fine Wine Fund. Launched in April 2008, and having experienced very difficult trading conditions in 2008-2009, its unit price is now above the launch price, having grown by around 60% during 2010. And the good news is that this outstanding performance looks set to continue, with strong demand for investment grade fine wine coming from the Far East and elsewhere.Stratton Street Capital LLP was founded in August 2001. It is an FSA authorised and regulated investment manager based in the UK, specialising in Asian Alternative Investmenmt Funds. Current funds can be divided into three distinct but complimentary styles with separate fund manager teams, allowing the investor to choose the Asian market exposure they require to suit their portfolio needs. Funds under management currently total US$611 million, which are all advised and managed out of the London office.
The Guernsey based management company separately acts as Principal manager to two buy-to-let property Funds and the Fine Wine Fund, with total assets of US$84 million. In turn, the LLP acts as The Promoter to these and its other funds.
